If you’re feeling disconnected—from your partner, your emotions, or even yourself—Stacy might be the right therapist for you. She is lively, warm, and refreshingly real—someone who brings energy and ease into the therapy room, while also creating space for deep, honest work. Stacy works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, communication challenges, and emotional or relational disconnection. Her approach is focused on helping clients tune into their emotional experience, understand and change negative thought patterns, and create more fulfilling relationships. Whether you’re stuck in emotional shutdown or longing to feel closer in your relationship, Stacy offers a space where insight, movement, and meaningful change can begin.

Stacy’s clinical presence is warm, engaged, and deeply attuned. She listens with genuine curiosity and reflects back what matters most with clarity and care. Clients often describe her as someone who brings both lightness and depth—able to sit with hard emotions without making the space feel heavy. Her energy is grounding but playful, and she brings a unique ability to track emotional undercurrents without losing sight of the big picture. Whether she’s helping a couple slow down and hear each other differently, or guiding an individual through layers of inner conflict, Stacy shows up with kindness, honesty, and a sense of calm that helps clients feel safe and seen.

For clients who want to incorporate faith into the therapy process, Stacy offers Christian counseling with depth, nonjudgement, and humility. As someone deeply rooted in her Christian faith, Stacy understands how central faith can be in the healing journey—and how painful it can be when that connection feels strained or uncertain. Whether you want to strengthen your walk with God, process wounds from faith communities, or simply make sense of your struggles through a Biblical lens, Stacy walks alongside you with compassion.

How Stacy Can Help

Stacy supports couples who feel stuck, distant, or caught in painful communication loops. She uses Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners move beyond surface arguments and into the real emotions underneath—like fear, longing, or grief. With gentle guidance, she helps each person express what they truly need and feel, creating space for new conversations, emotional repair, and deeper connection. Her work is ideal for couples who are ready to break out of old patterns and rediscover the intimacy and understanding they’ve been missing.

With individual clients, Stacy helps people facing anxiety, depression, and the internal pressure to “have it all together.” She supports clients in slowing down, noticing what they feel, and getting curious about where those emotions come from. Her style blends insight and empathy, helping people reconnect with their emotional selves and move through stuck places without judgment. Therapy with Stacy is less about “fixing” and more about finding a deeper way of being—with yourself and with others—that feels honest, compassionate, and sustainable.

Stacy also works with what’s sometimes called “simple trauma”—experiences that may not seem extreme, but still leave a lasting emotional impact. Maybe it was a difficult breakup, growing up in a home where emotions weren’t safe, or always feeling like you had to be the strong one. These moments can quietly shape how we relate to others, how we manage anxiety, or why we struggle with self-worth. For clients dealing with anxiety, depression, or relationship patterns that feel stuck, Stacy may incorporate EMDR—a research-backed approach that helps the brain process and let go of painful experiences. If it’s a good fit, EMDR can gently shift how those old experiences live in the body and mind—so you can respond to life with more freedom and less emotional reactivity. And if it’s not the right tool for you, that’s okay too—Stacy tailors her approach to meet you exactly where you are.

Stacy is especially gifted at helping clients who struggle to access or trust their emotions. Many of the individuals she works with feel anxious, disconnected, or like they’re constantly managing life rather than living it. With gentle curiosity and emotional precision, Stacy helps clients tune into what’s actually happening beneath the surface—whether it’s grief, anger, fear, or longing—and begin to relate to those emotions with more compassion and clarity. Her work often feels like peeling back layers: not to dig up pain for its own sake, but to make room for a deeper sense of presence, self-understanding, and peace.

If you’re carrying spiritual wounds or feeling unsure about where you stand with faith, Stacy creates space for that too. While she offers Christian counseling for clients who desire it, Stacy knows that faith and trauma can get tangled—and that not everyone has had safe or healing experiences within the Church. As someone deeply rooted in her Christian faith, she approaches these conversations with humility, care, and a strong respect for each client’s story. Whether you’re grieving spiritual disconnection, questioning parts of your belief system, or healing from experiences of religious harm, Stacy offers a nonjudgmental space where you can explore those layers at your own pace. You don’t have to believe a certain way to be welcome here—you just have to be human and willing to heal.

In both individual and couples work, Stacy emphasizes the importance of slowing down and really listening—to yourself, to one another (perhaps to God) and to what emotions are trying to communicate. So often, anxiety and conflict are symptoms of something deeper that’s been left unspoken or misunderstood. Through emotion-focused therapy, Stacy helps clients find the words, the feelings, and the courage to name those deeper truths—and to connect in more meaningful and emotionally honest ways. Whether you’re facing a relational crossroads, navigating depression, or simply longing to feel more alive and connected, Stacy offers a path toward change that is anchored in empathy, insight, and emotional depth.
