If you are looking for someone to help you navigate unresolved trauma or dissociative experiences, Becca may be the counselor for you. Becca Harowitz is well versed in the murky waters of early trauma and attachment wounds and can provide you a safe and judgement free space to process and explore your trauma at a pace that is comfortable, safe and manageable for you. You’ll find her approach to be warm, relational and soft-spoken but also truthful and direct. While she may be an intern, Becca bring a wealth of lived experience to her role as a therapist. She and her husband have teenage, emerging adult/adult children, and Becca has walked alongside many women in difficult circumstances with a spirit of encouragement and long-suffering. Becca strives to help clients feel safe, validated and understood. She wants you to know that you are not a burden and your story is not too much.

Becca draws from a variety of counseling models and approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Trauma Model Therapy, TMT; Parts Work (Internal Family Systems, IFS; and Ego State Therapy, EST); Attachment Theory; Mindfulness; and Somatic Psychology. Christian-based counseling is available when specifically requested.
