Deirdre “Didi” Coleman, LAC
If you are seeking support for yourself or your teen through emotional challenges, school or relationship stress, family changes, grief, divorce, or a season of discovering who you are and where you're headed, Didi may be the right therapist for you. You'll find her approach to be warm and cheerful, encouraging and nonjudgmental, creating a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. Didi helps clients develop self-regulation and self-soothing skills while learning to better understand their emotions, relationships, and evolving sense of self. She counsels from an attachment-based, trauma-informed perspective and believes healing happens through safety, connection, and authentic relationships. Didi specializes in working with attachment-related concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, and adults navigating divorce, grief, midlife identity questions and crises, and major life transitions. She has a particular passion for helping adults discover who they are beyond the roles they have carried for years and develop greater confidence, resilience, and self-understanding. With more than 20 years of experience as a school counselor, Didi brings a deep understanding of the life complexities that teens and families are navigating. She helps teens build emotional regulation skills, heal from painful experiences, and experience deeper connection with themselves and others. For clients who desire it, she thoughtfully integrates Christian faith, helping them address false beliefs, find hope, and move toward greater freedom and healing.
